How has COVID impacted Wyncourt?
Like everyone else Covid has had a huge impact on ourselves and residents. As long as we are Covid free we will continue to accept new residents if they have had a negative swab (we can provide) and are symptom free. They will then have to enter a 14day isolation period in their bedroom. We will allow visiting under special circumstances as long as family members abide by the visiting policies we have in place. We have two visiting pods indoors that allow for safe visiting. Visiting guidelines change regularly as we take advice from local authorities so if you do require more information on visiting or other COVID related information please contact us.

I was surprised how good it was [the home]. If you have to go in anywhere, I don’t think you could do better. I’ve dreaded it all my life but it really is good.

If you walk around you will hear a lot of laughing, I’ve been looked after marvellously, the food is excellent.

You will never find a better nursing home ever. If you cut Sue through the middle it would say care.

It’s the best job in the world. I love it, it doesn’t feel like a chore. The best thing about it is spending time with the residents.

The care given to my mum was second to none. She was treated with the upmost respect and dignity throughout her happy time at Wyncourt.
